Sniko (Photography Team): I chose journalism because I realised I had a passion for the photography and I want to work in the television industry. I believe being a journalist comes with a sense of responsibility to provide truth to our readers.

Sovash (Editing Team): Journalism is extremely important to the world. I hope one day to be an investigative. What I really want to do with my writing is shine a light on what would otherwise remain in the dark.

Dylan (Design Team): I chose journalism so I could continue doing what I love: writing. I want to use the talents I learn here to spread my writing to the rest of the world.

Angelique (Photography Team): Journalism is a way to reach people and get involved in important issues around the world, there is a certain danger to it and that thrills me.

Zahra (Photography Team): My love of the written world and curiosity for the world is really what drove me to journalism. One of the things that is essential in journ. is to embrace yourself in the diversity of the world and to acknowledge and attempt to understand the lived experiences around us.

Milise (Design Team): If news is not written for the people then why should one write them? Journalism as a study is there to help one gain the fundamental skills on becoming a person for the people.

Tshepiso (Editing Team): Journalism is a great platform to speak and engage on issues that affect people; and I being passionate about people chose this path to better the platform. People’ stories aren’t just stories, they are realities.

Kudzi (Photography Team): I look at photography as a way of feeling, of touch and love and I aspire to give the world the best shots as a photojournalist. Photography is a love affair with life.

Bokang: (Photography Team): I chose journalism so I can have my own talk show, so I thought, “why not take journalism as the first first steps and enjoy the roller coaster ride”.
